Baluwatar Kathmandu-headquartered Shangrila Development Bank has successfully completed its 13th year of operation and entered into 14th year. On the occasion of the 14th anniversary the bank has organized varieties of programs. As the bank has attached utmost priority to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in addition to serving the customers, it provided food items and commodities of daily use to the 30 senior citizens of ‘Aama Ghar’ situated at Soltimod.
Board of Directors of the bank Chudamani Dhakal and Niran Kaumar Shrestha Chief Executive Officer Rajendra Poudel and Deputy Chief Executive Officer Dinesh Thakali personally went to the ‘Aama Ghar’ and handed over the commodities of regular use. Similarly, the Pokhara-based regional office of the bank organized another CSR activity where Chairperson of the bank Prof. Dr. Rabindra Parsad Shrestha, Board of director Shivalal Malla and former Chairperson Prof. Surendra Bahadur Bhari handed over stationary to the 40 orphan children of the Child Center of Batulechaur.
Also, Nepaljung regional office hosted similar program which was led by Board of Director of the bank Achyut Parasad Prasain. He handed over warm clothes and food items to the senior citizens of Nilgar and Bheri Elderly People’s Home.
