The CPN-UML irked by the latest decisions taken by the government has reiterated its view to annul the decisions taken by the present Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government.
CPN-UML vice chairman Bhim Bahadur Rawal on Friday said that the upcoming government would annul all the decisions taken by the present care-taker government.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the district convention of the Nepal National Teachers’ Organisation in Mangalsen, Rawal said that the decisions taken by the present government, which are against the nation’s welfare, the constitution and laws would never be implemented.
He also warned of stern action against the civil servants who support and involve in the arbitrary activities of the present government.
“All the wrong decisions taken by the present government will be scrapped immediately after the formation of the new government. No one can go against the rule of law,” he said.
He said the present government was taking decisions arbitrarily, ignoring the welfare of the country, constitution, rule of law and people’s mandate.
The UML leader said that the decision of the government to reduce the eligible age for the social allowance from 70 to 65 years had created a situation in which even septuagenarians would be deprived of the facility.
Earlier, general secretary Ishwor Pokharel had issued similar warning to the government.
