Talking to senior journalists last week in Kathmandu, Suraj Vaidya, coordinator, Nepal Visit Year 2020, said that different initiatives have been taken to make successful the Nepal Visit Year 2020.
Vaidya informed that plans are underway to improve management in the Tribhuvan International Airport and operation of the Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa, among others.
Besides, plans have been developed for organizing international level adventure tourism sports in Himalayan zones, campaigning abroad about Nepal’s religious shrines, touristic destinations.
Vaidya informed that he is thinking about not only bringing 2 million tourists during the Visit Nepal Year 2020 but also making Nepal as a tourist hub for ever.
Vaidya also informed that in September next year, an international summit for investment in tourism sector is scheduled to be organized.
