Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged the opposition leaders to express only such views which could be justified by history.
Referring to the alteration of the views by Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba on the ban of the activities of the Biplav-led group, the Prime Minister urged the political leaders to be cautious while expressing their views regarding the group led by Biplav.
Deuba who had hailed the government decision to ban the Biplav-led group changed his tones the next day stating that ban was not solution.
Talking with media persons upon his arrival at the Biratnagar airport on Sunday, the Prime Minister said that the government did not recognise the group led by Biplav as it had not been formally registered in any office.
“The organisation which had not been formally registered in any office is just a group, the government does not recognise such group,” he said.
Stating that the group led by Biplav was not a party, he said that the government had banned the destructive activities of the group.
“I want to request all the leaders of Nepal not to speak about the things that they cannot answer on their own. Is his party registered anywhere? Not. The group being recognised as Biplav group was just like the group which used to be identified sometimes as the ‘Cobra Group’ and at others times in other names,” he said.
