‘Experience Nepal’ campaign launched

  • Kathmandu, 17 May: Tourism Board, Himalayan Bank Limited and American Express have jointly launched ‘Experience Nepal’ campaign targeting the Visit Nepal Year 2020.

     The main objective of the campaign is to inform the American Express Card users about Nepal’s natural beauty, uniqueness and diversity, thereby encouraging them to visit Nepal. All the three organisations will be promoting the campaign also through their website, web portal and social networking accounts.

     Speaking at a press meet in capital on Thursday, CEO of Himalayan Bank Ashoke Shumsher Rana said the campaign will be used to expand the destination of tourists by publicizing it in Nepal. CEO of Nepal Tourism Board Dipak Raj Joshi and Dibya Jain of American Express said the campaign will help promote tourism as well as local businesses.

     Under the campaign that will run until June 2020, tourists coming to Nepal will be provided special discounts and other facilities in the Bank’s more than 80 merchant partner hotel, restaurants and tourism service providers, according to information shared at the press meet.
