Examination taken for officers in Tribhuvan University was disturbed on Thursday after one of the commision members objected to the irregularities in the examination.
Represenattive member of TU Service Commision and member of Public Service Commisision Brahmadev Raya refuted to involve in the examination were not held in a fair and discplined manner. Immediately after that the TU Commssion postpone the exam by issuing a notice.
TU Service Commission had published the results of the written examinations from drivers to officers on baisakh 14. In the exmination, kins of the TU Service Commission and other officials were announced successful in the exams. Similarly, it was revealed that relatives of those who have aceess to TU officials had passed the exams.
The officials, whose relatives were taking exams involved in the examination process, were accused of resorting to favourotism. The Commisison for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority is now looking into the case.
It was said that many officials had abused their power to make their daughters and nieces pass the examination.
Administrtaive chief of the TU Srrvice Commission had his daguther Namita Koirala pass the examination of officer while chairman of TU Service Commission Chaitanya Sharma had his niece Parvati Sapkota get through the written examination of the officer.
