The unification process in the ruling Nepal Communist Party has again obstructed owing to growing differences among the leaders.
The unification process that has moved in an installation system for the past 13 months has been halted after announcing the names of the first and second men in its 22 sister organisations. Earlier, the unification process was halted for months following the formation of the state committee last year. But the leaders managed to end the obstruction by constituting district committees last month and the sister organisations two weeks ago.
But again, the party is delaying to name its politburo members, due mainly to dispute within the former UML leaders. Still many district committees are yet to get full shape while disputes have surfaced in the newly unified sister organisations.
