Kathmandu, 15 July: At least 60 people were killed, 31 disappeared and 34 injured so far in monsoon-related incidents caused by rain since the past four days across the country, according to the Home Ministry.
More than 33,000 people in 28 districts have been affected by the incidents, and 2,156 have been rescued so far, according to the ministry.
Rescue and relief efforts have been expedited through transportation of air, water and road. Various respective bodies of the government, the governments of all three levels, security bodies, local communities and various organisations are making prompt rescue efforts across the country.
