Kathmandu, 16 July: The process of party merger of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has concluded on Tuesday. After having four hours of meeting at Baluwatar, the two chairpersons KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal came to an accord to conclude the merger process of the party.
As per the agreement, the two leaders have settled the contentious issues related to the assignment of tasks to central committee members, the formation of elderly people’s forum, advisory committee, departments and commission among others, according to general secretary Bishnu Poudel.
He further said, “The NCP Secretariat meeting slated for July 21 will endorse the decision and all the matters relating to unification.”
