Kathmandu, 16 September: Nepal recorded a total of 1,511 new cases of Covid-19 and 11 fatalities in the last 24 hours taking the country’s coronavirus caseload reached 781,989 according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Moreover, the countrywide Covid-19 mortality toll has jumped to 11,002 while the total coronavirus recoveries has dropped to 745,215 with 1,689 discharges today. The country’s active Covid-19 case count currently is 25,772. The Kathmandu Valley recorded as many as 164 infections today while Lalitpur and Bhaktapur recorded 61 and 48 respectively.
