
Kathmandu, 7 May: For the first time in history, a team of Nepal Army has reached Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world. A team led by Captain Raju Shrestha and Amit Thapa reached the summit at 5:50 this morning, according to Angbabu Sherpa, Director at the Pick Promotion that is assisting the Nepal Army in Kanchenjunga cleaning campaign. Six people, including two Nepal Army personnel, have reached the summit.
